It is a garden full of magical moments such as a magnificent tree peony opening from bud to full flower to the music of the whispering fountain. When an artist creates a garden, there is a special intensity to the landscape. And this artist?s intimate involvement with her living canvas means she is aware of every plant, and every alteration of colour, shape and size. Although this garden has a polished look to it, it?s not finished. You can feel the homeowner itching to move things, to add, to subtract, to make it more…diaphanous.
