You will be able to get that new Acanthus this year. You'll be able to find the erythronium at Lost Horizons which is near Acton. Just give it a google.

Marjorie:
I was tickled 'pink' to see your mention of Acanthus mollis "Tasmanian Angel.' Does this mean that it will be available in Ontario this coming growing season? I have only been able to locate it in the States and with a hefty price attached - not that we ardent gardener's wouldn't part with it for a new and exciting rarity in the garden!

I have the Hakonechloa macra 'All's Gold' and he is a beautiful sweeping clump of brilliant sunshine in a shaded area of the garden.

I wish I could get past that combo of the Dicentra 'Gold heart' but the foliage and the flowers.... there's just something about it...

alas, please keep the list coming. I have already jotted down a few key 'need to have in the garden for 2008' plants.

PS- where does one find Erythronium 'dens canis' and/or revolutum in the area (Guelph/Fergus) They are atop my wish list for 2008? Any info would be greatly appreciated!
