Walking through Tom Deacon?s garden, nestled in close to 100 acres in Ontario?s Mulmur Hills, the visitor is inevitably drawn to the glowing yellow and orange candles of foxtail lilies. Standing tall amid golden daylilies and masses of chartreuse lady?s mantle, these alluring spires highlight what Deacon calls his Colour Wheel Garden.

Yellow and orange foxtail lilies, blue delphiniums and scarlet crocosmia (next slide) bring both colour and sculptural form to the garden.
