About Marjorie

Marjorie Harris is one of Canada’s leading garden writers.  She has been the gardening columnist for Canada’s national newspaper, The Globe and Mail since 1990 and has a weekly column in the Friday Life section; and bi-weekly in Style; makes speeches across the country; is the Editor-at-Large of Gardening Life magazine. She has written 15 gardening books, lives and has a plant consulting business in Toronto.

Born in Shaunovon, Saskatchewan back in the mists of time, she was educated from Goose Bay Labrador to Vancouver B. C. and graduated in Hon. Eng. from McMaster university.
